One of the causes that Rotary supports is education so recently the Methuen Rotary Club donated the book Dave & Danny Pay it Forward which is about spreading kindness, compassion and paying it forward.   To quote the Author  Gretchen Detora  "The idea of Paying It Forward has always resonated with me perhaps because of the influence of my own upbringing. In its simplest form, Paying it Forward means responding to another person's kindness by being kind to someone else. As I learned about the life of David Vaughan, I knew he lived by this example too. This was the impetus for “Dave and Danny Pay It Forward” - I created a character based on David and how he teaches his son about kindness and compassion through the examples he demonstrates throughout the book. I felt that a children’s story would be a great platform to pass along the Pay it Forward message to kids all across the world." 

Books were donated to the 1^St Grade Classes at the Marsh Grammar School and  Shannon Molloy of Shannon Mary Sunshine Original Scarf Designs.

Shannon continues to spread her sunshine and her love for reading to preschool students . She is an amazing role model using assistive technology to read. Shannon's message... "Everyone can live a literate life!"
