The flyer is attached to the bulletin, and was also sent in PDF format along with the sponsor document via email this afternoon (from Amy). Deadline to obtain new sponsors and confirm existing is Novemeber 12. We cannot order new placards for the wreaths or trees after this date. Please send updates to Amy via text (978-702-6566)
Wreath Assembly Day
We will be assembling the wreaths on Sunday November 24 at the Methuen Y. Time TBA. Please let Amy know if you're able to assist, feel free to bring your friends to help. Assembly will consist of:
•Unboxing
•Battery Install
•Placard Attachment
•Bow Attachment
•Timer Setting 4 or 4:30pm based on DPW's suggestion
DPW will pick up the wreaths and hang them in conjunction with the removal of fall decor.
Tree Delivery Day
We will be delivering the trees on Wednesday Nov. 27. Please let Amy know if you are able to assist.
Christmas Raffle:
Our annual Christmas Raffle will be held on Friday Dec. 6 during the regular meeting time. Flyer attached-- Please begin inviting friends family and colleagues to this fun event!! Share your raffle basket commitment intentions with Amy so number of baskets/donations can be tracked.
Speaker/ Classification:
Today, John Breen spoke to us about "the inevitable", a.k.a. funeral arrangements. Our own "Fr. John" is a 5th Generation owner of The John Breen Funeral Home in North Andover, MA. His presentation was eye opening to say the least. If you have any questions, concerns or needs regarding "the inevitable" for yourself or a loved one, please reach out to John. He's dying to assist you ;)
Methuen Santa Parade:
Santa Parade is 11/23, please reach out to Erica if you would like to walk with her and Tim!
Rotary Christmas Party:
December 13 at Jim's house, 34 Boxford St. North Andover, MA. Tentatively 6pm. Mark your calendars, more info to follow! We will not have our regularly scheduled meeting that afternoon.
Speaker Program:
All slots have been filled to finish out the new year. If you have any new contacts/ideas for a speaker presentation, please connect with Darlene to schedule. We will not be having speakers or classifications on board meeting days (last Friday of each month).
