Wreath Assembly Day
We will be assembling the wreaths on Sunday November 24 at the Methuen Y. Time TBA. Please let Amy know if you're able to assist, feel free to bring your friends to help. Assembly will consist of:
•Unboxing
•Battery Install
•Placard Attachment
•Bow Attachment
•Timer Setting 4:30pm based on DPW's suggestion
DPW will pick up the wreaths and hang them in conjunction with the removal of fall decor.
Tree Delivery Day
We will be delivering the trees on Wednesday Nov. 27. Please let Amy know if you are able to assist.
Christmas Raffle:
Our annual Christmas Raffle will be held on Friday Dec. 6 during the regular meeting time. Flyer attached-- Please begin inviting friends family and colleagues to this fun event!! Share your raffle basket commitment intentions with Amy so number of baskets/donations can be tracked.
Speaker/ Classification:
Today, we were joined by Asst District Gov Peter Marjane and also Andrew Distefano from New Fed Mortgage.
Peter spoke with us about the district and opportunities throughout the Rotary community. There are many organizations and groups within our group that do amazing work locally, nationally and internationally. Peter is always available to chat if you ever have questions or ideas!
Andrew Distefano from New Fed Mortgage spoke briefly about mortgage rates and different programs offered by New Fed. If you need any assistance with obtaining a mortgage, please reach out. His business card is attached.
Methuen Santa Parade:
Santa Parade is 11/23, please reach out to Erica if you would like to walk with her and Tim!
Rotary Christmas Party:
December 13 at Jim's house, 34 Boxford St. North Andover, MA. Tentatively 6pm. Mark your calendars, more info to follow! We will not have our regularly scheduled meeting that afternoon.
Festival of Trees:
Darlene will be decorating the Rotary Tree tomorrow, Saturday November 16 from 11am-2pm. Please reach out to her if you're able to join. She will be at the Festival location, 13 Branch St. Methuen.
Board Meeting:
Next Board Meeting, Friday November 22 during the regularly scheduled meeting time. We will be doing nominations for 2025-2026 at this meeting. Please let Amy or Erica know if you will be in attendance, as we need a quorum for votes.
Bocce Tournament:
Our 10th Annual Bocce has been scheduled for Saturday April 5, 2025. More details to follow.
