The fundraiser for the heating system at OLGC parish in Methuen is happening tomorrow March 16. Please let Amy know if you're planning on attending. Cost is $20 per person. There'll be raffles and Irish Step Dancers entertainment, along with a traditional Irish band. We will be donating $250 to the parish at the event and chatting about membership opportunities. Please let Amy know if you are planning on attending. Flyer attached. 

 

March Board meeting will be on Tuesday March 26th at 12pm at the Fireside. Be there or be square. Just kidding, let Erica or Amy know if you're able to attend. We wanted to see if an afternoon meeting was easier for members to attend. 

 

On March 8, Fellow Rotarian Ashely Haseltine, Executive Director of the Methuen Memorial Music Hall joined us, along with Trudy's guest, Steve Krekorian the Director of Corporate Relations at Lawrence General Hospital. Steve gave us a lot of information regarding the hospital being a non-profit with a primary focus on the Merrimack Valley. Lawrence General is a true hidden gem of the area, as the ony Level 3 Trauma facility in the area with immediate emergency basis offsite/ "on call". Lawrence General is also a critical healthcare and economic resource in the Merrimack Valley with 2,000 employees. As a non-profit, they focus on fundraising on the individial level, charitable foundation evel and companies/ organizations. If you are interested in donating to the hospital or would like any other information, please reach out to Steve. His contact/ card is attached. Ashely's card is also attached :)
