Dues are now past due. If you have not paid, please do so on line immediately or bring a check to the next meeting.
Tim will be acting as the Sargent at Arms and collecting fines, happy dollars, and sad dollars at meetings weekly - bring your cash!

Light Up Methuen

Any members who want to be on the committee reach out to Amy ASAP. Initial planning meeting to be scheduled in early September.
Wreaths - we have one option for ordering pre-lit wreaths. This will need to be discussed, with budget options at the planning meeting. Final decision pending budget and board vote.
Methuen Day (October 5th) will have a Light Up Methuen theme, with information and sign up info to increase the number of trees
Light Up Methuen will run from 12/7 through 12/28

Club Meeting for August 23rd

Guest & Speaker - Lisa Smith from Neighbors in Need

Lisa is the Executive Director of Neighbors In Need. They currently have 6 mobile food pantries and one diaper pantry and are looking to expand. There is a huge need for food and diapers in this area. Methuen alone needs 50% more food. This is an immediate crisis in this area and help is always needed and appreciated. They are looking for volunteers at their evening pantries as well as at their warehouse on Island St in Lawrence. Their biggest fundraiser " Soups On" will be on Saturday, October 5th at the Indian Ridge Country Club - Live and Silent Auctions, Cash Bar, Dinner, Soup Samplings. Tickets are $100 - RSVP by 9/29 - tickets sold on website.
